Davide Lovera and Cristina Desderi opened this agriturismo on a hill above Cavagnolo on the boundary of the province of Turin. It was here in 2011 that they came up with an ethical pig farming project with the animals living in a semi-wild state. Over the years since then, Davide has mastered and gathered know-how about the work and today the farm’s raw and cooked salamis, boiled ham and prosciutto aged in its tufa limestone cellars, pork loin and coppa have achieved excellent quality levels.

Meanwhile, given the logistic difficulties involved in a farm of this kind, Davide has introduced more than 200 label chickens (which are sold whole or in pieces), which live in spacious enclosures.

Products are on sale at the farm shop and street markets, especially the one in Via Monferrato in Turin.

A new project which is already underway is the production of a limited quantity of extra virgin olive oil with olives from the trees they have planted on their land.

All products are on the menu at the farm restaurant, open by reservation on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sundays at lunchtime.
