Riccardo Miscioscia was a homebrewer until 2014, when he became brewmaster at this brewery, housed in the former Fiorio tannery in Turin’s Borgo San Donato quarter. Active since 2007, the brewery enjoyed an important new development in 2023 with an improvement to its production of drinkable beers with clear-cut flavours and aromas. With the collaboration of Marco Stevanella and Andrea Zunino, Riccardo creates labels inspired by the brewing tradition but with a personal touch: the main ones are Chagall (a well-structured amber ale), Chellerina (a light blonde), la Hops & Roll (a citrusy IPA), Winternacht (a Baltic Porter with coffee and chocolate aromas and a smoky note), American Jasper (a pils with American hops), and Frida (and IGA with soft, fruity aromas). Since 2004, La Piazza dei Mestieri has organised educational activities, offering courses on baking and chocolate-making, all coordinated by Maurizio Camilli, chef at the renowned restaurant next door.
