This small brewery in Turin’s vibrant San Paolo quarter has been producing premium craft labels in different styles with the finest ingredients (malts, hops, spices, herbs and other local produce) since 2008. It is run by Maurizio Griva and Graziano Migliasso who take you on a journey into the various styles. The beers are produced in the brewery next door to the pub, where everything – from the water to the malt to the hops – is weighed out with consummate skill. The range features the iconic Ipè, a splendid IPA, an Oktoberfest-style lager, and a Golden Ale made with honey, plus a delicious Imperial Stout and many others besides, served on a rotation basis. One such is a magnificent Kriek, produced with a year’s fermentation in barrels from cherries supplied directly by the producers. The same importance is attached to the quality of the ingredients of the food served in the brewpub. Everything is homemade, from the panini to the hamburgers, from the focaccia to the farinata, from the house-smoked salmon to the porchetta, with an attention to detail that is nothing if not the fruit of great passion.
