The Perotti family has run this historic confectionery business in Pont Canavese since 1968 and still uses the same craft methods: witness the creams cooked in large copper pots with the finest ingredients. The Piasir line consist of three cream spreads with a sugar and Piemonte base flavoured with gianduja, plain chocolate, and one without cocoa. Another speciality of the house is Giuraje, gluten-free candies prepared in a copper basin with hazelnuts, water and sugar.

Besides cakes (we warmly recommend the one flavoured with passito di Caluso) and petite patisserie (most of which suitable for the gluten-intolerant), the star attraction at Perotti is chocolate: orange and hazelnut bars, nougat, “baci del Gran Paradiso” with rum or genepy and, in winter, as many as 32 different pralines. The Tuma, finally, is a giant cremino with three layers of chocolate, normally served in slices. The business is part of the “Gran Paradiso National Park” and some products bear its Quality Trademark. Closed on Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday.
