Boutic Caffè was established by the Di Feo family in 2000 and builds on the research into coffee beans and the art of roasting carried on by Sergio Negro from the 1950s. The Di Feos attach particular importance to the selection of the finest ingredients, slow roasting methods and customer care (envisaging, among other things, personalized products). The pursuit of flavour and balance begins with the selection of the beans, which come from Asia, Africa and Central and South America. Hence classic blends of varying percentages of arabica and robusta (Gran Aroma, Superiore, La Dolcezza) and gourmet and specialty selections with full traceability info on plantations, artisanship and sustainability. The product range also encompasses single-origin, organic and Fairtrade coffees and the Slow Food Presidium high-altitude coffee from Zongolica, in Mexico, a 100% arabica with balanced flavour and low acidity grown at over 1,300 metres above sea level.
