A well-established farm immersed in the greenery of the morainal hill on which the town of Rivoli sits. Its sole activity was agriculture until Giuseppe Roggero, a bee enthusiast, decided to branch out into the production of high-quality honeys. He is now helped by his children, Claudia and Lorenzo, and his wife Martile Nicla. The honey is produced by hand in the farm workshop, which also processes propolis and its by-products. The hives are scattered across hilly and mountainous areas, from the Val Pellice to the Val di Susa and the Val Sangone. Varieties produced include lime, acacia, chestnut, rhododendron, dandelion, as well as new ones such as wild thyme and mountain wild flower, a Slow Food Presidium. Other products include pollen, royal jelly, propolis, beeswax and sweets made with non-alcoholic propolis and honey. All are on sale at the farm and at Campagna Amica markets, together with Pignoletto Rosso polenta flour. The farm also organises courses for children.
