Amici Miei

Amici Miei

The product range of the Amici Miei patisserie is intended as a homage to Italy’s Mediterranean traditions. This beautifully appointed shop opened in 2007 with a strong emphasis on Southern Italian confectionery (especially that of Campania and Sicily) but in the years since then has expanded its repertoire. Today it stands out in Turin for a number of iconic classics such as zeppole di San Giuseppe (typical Neapolitan Father’ Day pastries), rum babà, sfogliatelle, cannoli and cassatas. New additions range from North (Piedmontese langarola, for example, hazelnut tart made with PGI Langhe hazelnuts) to South (with pasticciotti, filled pastries typical of the Salento district in Puglia). Lately, the patisserie has started to cater for the demand for gluten-free goods with a variety of specialities that allow coeliac disease sufferers to enjoy a good breakfast or aperitifs, alcoholic or otherwise, with a selection of mini-pizzas and canapés. The breakfast croissants are freshly filled and classic birthday cakes are also available.
