Since 2014 Andreina Serra has carried on her family’s tradition in the integrated “from land soil to the jar” production of quality craft tracklements and conserves. With her husband Gianni and her sons Paolo, an agricultural technician, and Mattia, an architect, she has quickly won many admirers thanks to the high standard of her products.

Her assortment of homemade, ready-to-serve antipastos includes delicacies such as antipasto piemontese (mixed vegetables in tomato sauce), pepper and tuna, and Sicilian caponata. The bagna caoda and relishes such as caramelised onion and fig mostarda are much loved, as are pasta sauces such as the basil, asparagus and nettle pestos. A popular novelty is the vegetable stock cube.

Then come a variety of quality fruit compotes, such as pear and ginger, and peach, blueberry and prune. For customers looking for sugar-free options, there are the compote of blueberry and stevia, and apple, damson and blueberry juices.

Andreina recently launched a rural hospitality service to allow customers to eat, drink, sleep and taste her products directly in situ. The shop opens by appointment and closes on Sundays.
