Set in a tiny village in the Susa Valley, this organic farm was founded in 2014 by Efrem Alberto and his partner. It grows, harvests and processes officinal herbs and is attentive to the question of sustainability.

One of its prime products is lavender essential oil made from lavender grown on the stone terraces of the surrounding valleys. The range also comprises cosmetics and hygiene products made with organic methods from ingredients grown without chemical treatments or fertilisers, and extracting essential oils and active principles by hand.

Brusafer is also renowned for its original tisane jellies, cornmeal biscuits, preserves and chestnut cream spreads. Since 2020 it has worked with a women’s association in Burkina Faso from which it imports shea butter for its cosmetics directly. At the same address, a portion of an old cottage, restored conserving its original characteristics, houses an inn with a few rooms. Here, by appointment, it is also possible to enjoy mountain dishes and produce.
