Based in the communes of Albiano and Palazzo Canavese, Oscar Roffino’s farm attaches a great deal of importance to sustainability and produces more than 70 types of vegetables and cereals, all using strictly organic methods. Its sales point enjoys a lovely position at the entrance to the Ricetto di Candelo, a medieval fortified village: the vegetables on sale are gathered daily and a home delivery service is available for local customers ordering in advance. The product range also includes semi-wholemeal flours – wheat and maize – and baked goods such as torcetti and cornmeal biscuits, and home-baked grissini, plus the excellent preserves and sauces from the farm workshop, such as apple, strawberry and acacia blossom sauce, nettle pesto, wild garlic cream and wild spinach sauce. A number of local producers make their specialities using Oscar’s produce, among whom two other Masters of Taste, the Pastificio Il Castello pasta workshop and the Demartini Mauro Ivan bakery.
