When he opened his small shop in the centre of town in 2007, Andrea Perino was one of the pioneers of the minor revolution in Turinese baking that has drawn a whole new attention to the world of leavening and flour. With his wife Chiara to help him, Andrea made a name for himself and became a pole of attraction in the sector. Two years later he moved and opened a new more spacious, more structured shop in Via Cavour. Here it’s possible to buy bread, grissini, crackers, canapés, pizzas and all sorts of baked products, including excellent biscuits (traditional ones such as torcetti but also more contemporary vegan creations). If the first department is totally given over to classic baking, the second consists of a café in which it’s possible to enjoy breakfast items (sweet and savoury croissants, tarts and cakes) with hot beverages or fruit juices or stop off for a quick lunch (of savoury pies and panini, for example) or a tasty snack.
