Since 2009 the Pancalieri peppermint liqueur Amaro Mentorino, a brainwave of Sergio La Terra and Cristina Badone, has delighted drinkers, who love its structure and relatively low alcohol content. It owes its success to its unique combination of the finest local aromatic herbs and artisan production methods. It comes in a characteristic bottle shaped like the Turin landmark the Mole Antonelliana – hence a homage to the city – and the traditional version is also available in a regular slimline bottle.
Another of the distillery’s products of distinction is Amaro Trentatrè, a slightly more alcoholic digestive infusion characterised by strong, intense notes of aromatic herbs and ideal for anyone looking for more structured, complex flavour.
